Selwerd is a district of the city Groningen in The Netherlands. In this area an enormous diversity of people live together. Selwerd is an example of our changing society. Its original form – living in one area from birth until death – doesn’t apply anymore. This form of town-planning is outdated. More than 88 different nationalities live in Selwerd nowadays.
